178. HEADFUL OF SUGAR by Sunflower Bean

This 2022 record is the third in six years by New York indie rock band Sunflower Bean (previously covered here). As mentioned in that post, I'm a big fan of singer/bassist Julia Cumming's voice as evidenced by my picks down below. This album shows the band at a much more mature point in their songwriting and playing. Tracks that I think are worth starting out with (and that I've added to my playlists) include, 'Who Put You Up To This?,' 'Stand By Me' and 'Post Love.'
