Those of us yearning for the days of [Laurel Canyon](https://groovyhistory.com/laurel-canyon-rock-star-1970s?ref=auditorymusings.net) inspired music need look no further than this 2021 record. This is sun-kissed pop, perfect to usher in the Spring. Not exactly the kind of music one would expect out of a band hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana. Jack White (yes, *that* Jack White) was so impressed by the band, he signed them to his own Third Man Records label. The album clocks in at only 8 tracks and 33 minutes, but that just feels right. Check out ‘In the Beginning,’ ‘Unchain Your Heart’ and ‘Chasm Killer’ to get things started.
