I’ve always been a sucker for power pop bands (just enter that phrase in the search box on the website and you’ll see what I mean) and today’s post continues that trend. This just-released 2021 record by Scottish trio Vistas is full of 3 minute nuggets of catchy, melodic guitar heaven. Having recently learned about this band, this second album really makes me want to check out their debut. In the meantime, though, have a listen to this one (especially the title track, ‘Start Again,’ ‘Dayglow’ and ‘The Love That You Leave Behind’) and get prepared to have earworms ‘Stuck In Your Head’ for the rest of the day.
